Paddington Pups

Magic’s survival story thanks to Paddington Pups Brisbane Australia and the devastating Floods
Magic is a labrapoodle who came into our lives when she was about 18 months old in very bad shape. However after a few weeks of tender loving care and a great Vet Magic turned out to be a very energetic happy dog.
Peter and I decided that Magic would benefit from interaction with other dogs. We searched our local area and came across Paddington Pups. Magic managed to charm the pants off all the staff and became a regular. She enjoyed it so much we took her every day!!!!
Then the bomb shell happened Magic was diagnosed with epilepsy. We were devastated however Fraser (our vet) assured us that it was not an uncommon problem and could be managed with medication. We wondered if Paddington Pups would still be prepared to look after Magic.
The Paddington Pups Team came through as always and said it would be no problem and much to our relief said” don’t worry just let us know what we need to do and we will handle it.” And handle her seizures they do with a calm and professional manner.
Life was good Magic was happy
Then the next bomb shell hits Magic nearly dies
We went on holidays and left Magic in the care of a house sitter and instructions to take Magic to Paddington Pups every day.
We let the Team at Paddington Pups know we were going on holidays and if they noticed any change in Magic to please contact our vet. Thank GOODNESS we had a backup plan in place. Magic would not be alive today without their pure professionalism.
Bree and her team noticed that Magic was very lethargic and not herself so they decided to take her to the vet, Magic was diagnosed with lupoid onycodystrophey .She was put straight on to medication. She would be not be alive today if it were not for Fraser (our vet) and The Team at Paddington Pups.
We wondered how we were ever going to thank them....Little did we know that just around the corner was another disaster on the horizon.
Brisbane experienced the worst floods on January 11th 2011. Paddington Pups was flooded, amongst many other local business in the area. Bree lost everything apart from her will to keep her business going and a safe place for the local dogs
When I first set eyes on Paddington Pups after the floods I thought wow Bree and Paddington Pups need all the help we can muster. To this day I cannot believe the amount of local people that came to help clean up the mess at Paddington pups. The Army of people who came out in force helped greatly and within three weeks Bree was operating again.
Paddington Pups is an awesome place for dogs to have fun and be well cared for. I cannot recommend their service more highly.
Please Please Please visit our local Paddington Pups it would be great boost for our local community.
