What experience do you have in this industry?
I am officially an animal lover I grew up on acreage in the hinterland on the gold coast and over my short years I have had horses, chickens, birds, fish, Guinea pigs, cows, cats, the odd goat and always lots of dogs and that is just the pets not to mention the numerous wild animals that lived at our doorstep. I have been extensively coached in the pet industry as well as I read a lot of books and keep up to date with anything going on in the industry. I am currently perusing further Animal Behaviour studies.
What is your favourite type of dog?
I have to say Beagle (or Boston will get upset) but I love Boxers, Great Danes, Golden Retrievers small cuddly puppies and basically any dog with a big personality.
What pets do you have?
Currently Boston Beagle and I also share my dad’s dog Tyson the Boxer - he’s old and lovely. That’s all the pets I have currently. My husband says the fact that I get to look after everyone else’s dogs during the day is enough for now - particularly as I will pat him in my sleep some times when I think his arm is a puppy of some sort.
Favourite part of working at Paddington Pups?
Puppy Cuddle time when all the dogs get to snuggle with us at their level. I love the beautiful nature all the dogs have and how they make me smile. I also love seeing when the puppies go home of a night time they are all tired and sleepy and eagerly waiting to shake hands and get a parting treat.

Testimonials
My beloved little boy Harry has been attending Paddington Pups on a full time basis since he was a puppy (he is now 3). He is one of the first dogs that started going when Paddington Pups had just started up in its original form in Paddington.
It has been a wonderful experience for him, as I work full time, and the alternative would have been long and lonely days at home. He has met tons of friends, and as a result is extremely well-socialised with other dogs. Harry always looks forward to setting off to "school" with me, and anxiously waits by the car door each morning just in case I "forget" he has to go to school!
The greatest things about doggy day care at Paddington Pups is that the dogs get plenty of exercise (there is a dog park just over the road) and the opportunities for socialisation which are so important to a dog’s emotional well being. Bree, the owner, is a great dog lover, and her own basset hound attends day care as well.
All the workers love dogs and are terrific with them, and the atmosphere is happy and loving, which is really important for a dog (and his or her mum and dad!) Bree and the staff do hydrobaths and grooming, and Harry regularly has baths there which is great, as after a week of playing with his mates, chasing balls, and tearing around the dog park he is generally in need of a good bath! Paddington Pups has been fantastic for Harry and me, and is a huge part of Harry’s lifestyle as an inner city dog.
