About Us
About Us
Paddington Pups was established four years ago as the Purebread Pet Pantry & Supplies store on Given Terrace Paddington. In November 2007, Purebread moved to a larger premises at Heussler Terrace (just behind Suncorp Stadium). In May 2008, Purebread was purchased by Carly Fitzgerald and renamed Paddington Pups. In 2009 Carly's plans changed and it looked like she would be living overseas so Carly sold Paddington Pups to the current owner Bree Robbins. Since Bree became the owner of Paddington Pups the business has grown and developed with the clients, dogs and best intrests of the dogs.
In January 2011 we were one of the business in Milton that was effected by the major flooding in the greater Brisbane area. At that time Paddington Pups was forced to emergency evacuate 42 daycare dogs and 6 grooming dogs off site and safly home before looking at what items of the shop needed to be saved from the pending flood waters . At the height of the flood Paddington Pups went nearly 3 meters under water. The entire business needed to be re built. We had to replace internal walls, re-do all the floors, replace equiptment and re-establish our selves. We were amazed and honored by the support clients, locals and complete strangers gave us at this time it is a direct result of this that has helped to make Paddington Pups bigger, better and stronger.
At Paddington Pups we are passionate about animals and dogs in particular, we aim to provide our customers with everything they need to care for their dogs.
Dogs are social animals and do not like to be left on their own, which is why our Doggy Daycare service is so important for our busy customers. All our Doggy Daycare students arrive with their tails wagging because they can’t wait to see their friends and our staff who love them dearly.

Since joining this team i have learned a lot about the pups we look after and could'nt picture myself doing any other job.
Kellie - Pack Leader and Dog Consultant
Almost all of my working life has been in the animal industry, from pet stores to aquariums. Throughout high school I also had the opportunity to volunteer at the RSPCA. Through each role I have developed an understanding and great appreciation for our four legged friends and came to realisation that, however I needed to do it, I wanted to be surrounded by animals everyday through work and home.
Mia - Manager, Pack Leader and Dog Consultant
I have walked dogs in a semi-professional capacity since I was 11, walking as many as 5 dogs at a time. I have grown up around animals and on farms, and am comfortable in any situation regarding pets. I am intending on carrying on in this industry, involving my University studies into animal care.
HUGE NEWS
Due to Brisbane City Council regulatory changes regarding dog day care, Paddington Pups needs to move.
We have secured an AMAZING NEW LOCATION!!!
Don’t worry friends, our new place is just around the corner (literally).
It’s BIGGER, fully Air Conditioned, has several car parks and is just awesome! If I do say so myself…
Given the time frame for council approvals and appropriate renovations, etc., the move is scheduled to happen around October this year.
We will make sure you have plenty of information regarding the set up and facilities before the move takes place.
