About Us

Paddington Pups was established four years ago as the Purebread Pet Pantry & Supplies store on Given Terrace Paddington. In November 2007, Purebread moved to a larger premises at Heussler Terrace (just behind Suncorp Stadium). In May 2008, Purebread was purchased by Carly Fitzgerald and renamed Paddington Pups.

At Paddington Pups we are passionate about animals and in particular, we aim to provide our customers with everything they need to care for their pets.

Dogs are social animals and do not like to be left on their own, which is why our Doggy Daycare service is so important for our busy customers. All our Doggy Daycare students arrive with their tails wagging because they can’t wait to see their friends and our staff who love them dearly.

Meet the Team

All of the team at Paddington Pups spend their time in doggy daycare, the pet bakery and the shop to ensure we are experienced in all areas of the business so we can provide you with the highest quality service and advice

Carly Fitzgerald - Owner	Carly and her fluffy side-kick, Harry the Westie spend their day in doggy daycare, walking pups, visiting puppies at home and assisting customers in the shop. Sophie Pimblett - Dog Carer	Sophie is Paddington Pups new dog carer and is very excited to be part of our team! A serious animal lover, Sophie is delighted to be caring for our daycare students and says being greeted everyday with smiling faces and wagging tails is the perfect way to start the day. Sophie has many years experience in caring for companion animals including caring for her own dogs in Victoria and volunteer work at the Animal Welfare League of Queensland. Sophie is also passionate about protecting wildlife and spends her spare time studying native animal rehabilitation and catching and caring for injured wildlife. In addition, Sophie has six years experience in Tourism and customer service and is in the final year of her Bachelor of Business (Tourism) degree.
Millie Taylor-Brown - Dog Carer & Shop Assistant	Millie has been with the Paddington Pups team for over two years. Millie works with us on Saturday's to ensure that all our hydrobath customers leave Paddington Pups smelling wonderful and looking snazzy!
Wendy James - Dog Carer	Wendy is our newest team member and comes to us with many years of dedication to animals and their welfare. Wendy has found her dream job in Paddington Pups and loves to take the pups on their walk as well as enjoying pup cuddle time throughout the day. Wendy is pictured with her own pup, Kerny who has benefited immensely from doggy daycare. Once an unsociable, cranky pup when meeting other dogs, Kerny now plays and socialises all day
